I think everyone knows the Jindřišská Tower. It`s one of Prague’s most famous towers. But only a few people know that it was built as a separate bell tower of the Church of Saint Henry and Saint Cunigunde. And also that it is the tallest free-standing bell tower in Prague with its height of 65.7 meters.
Between the church and the tower is Jindřišská Street, which is a very busy streetcars line. There are stops in both directions – at the tower and at the church. If you have ever waited for your streetcar there, you may not have had time to go to the church.
So look there now.
